After its comeback with the Air Jordan Retro 6 “Maroon”, the infamous “Nike Air” branding seems to take on a new popularity with several releases of Air Jordans. While the branding seems to be popular among Air Jordan 1s and 3s with the latter having a one-off for its ’88 release done in February 2013, the new Air Jordan 4 OG White Cement that will have its Jordan release date on February 2016 will be making quite an entrance with the Nike Air branding, too.

During its first release in 1989, the pair of Air Jordan 4 OG with the white and black colorways or White Cement as it is more popularly known were thought to be an ugly pair. But now that the pair is getting a retro makeover, then Jordan heads and fans is likely to keep up when the first will become available on Jordan Brand stores worldwide. Rumor has it that the February release is set to coincide with the festivities for the NBA’s All-Star Weekend next year in Toronto and that only a limited number of pairs will be hitting the market. Given the exclusivity, the Air Jordan 4 OG “White Cement” is likely to hit a high price of around $220-$250.
So let’s have a close look at the shoe. Thanks to Sneaker News who gave us a first look into the retro version of the original Air Jordan 4 White Cement. Back again is the classic shoe with its cement speckling design found on the heel, down to the midsole, and up to the side panel wings. Of course, you wouldn’t be able to miss the black and bold Nike Air branding found on the heel and the blazing red version on the white outsole. All in all, the shoe is dressed in premium White leather with overlays in cement grays as the major highlight of the shoes found on the midsole, lacing component, and rear badge. The shoes’ outsole is also pretty cool with its array of black, white, red, and gray combination. What’s more, the pair of White Cement Air Jordan 4 OG incorporates the iconic Jumpman on the tongue and has the name “Air Jordan” stitched inside the tongue.
Having the Air Jordan 4 OG White Cement back is no surprise given that Jordan Brand is releasing quite a number of remastered and retroed Air Jordan 4s this 2016. As for Jordan heads, the only thing we can do right now is to wait for more information until the release of this pair and wish that it won’t be of the limited edition.
