Last summer of 2015, Jordan Brand decided to create a new performance sneaker – namely the Jordan High Rising. But even as a performance model with its stylish looks, the Rising High didn’t rise too high at retail. But the 2.0 version of this performance shoes might just make it with the Bred’ colorway thrown in in the mix.

Comparing the first and second version of the Rising High, nothing much really changed for its performance. The sneakers both have the same cushion and traction tooling so it’ll feel just like the original. But instead of using the Fuse and synthetic leather materials, Jordan Brand decide to use synthetic leather and a more comfortable mesh upper. Areas which are high-wear are made more durable with a Fuse welding. The “ginormous” Jumpman branding is also very obvious given that the leather runs right a path from the upper up to the collar.

At our first look, the Chicago Bull-inspired Jordan Rising High 2 look very much the performance shoe that it is. It also held a look of classic sophistication given its colorway.

What you get on a closer inspection is the quality and style that only Jordan Brand can provide. The Rising High 2 gets some very cool features like the Zoom Air forefoot and a durable medial and lateral support with the Flywire. The underfoot tread of the Rising High 2 is also shaped like a diamond to help with traction. It provides a solid performance on court as well with a FlightSpeed shank. You won’t miss the technology given that its name graces the side of the shoes.

You’d love the Bred Jordan Rising High 2 with its textured look. Thanks to the mesh upper coupled with the leather additions running from the sides up to the collar, the Rising High 2 gives its former color a new shine. The addition of a black and white midsole added another ounce of appeal to the shoes. The insoles, and Jumpman branding are tastefully done in Gym Red. The color served more for accents instead of anything else.

For the branding, you’d find a total of three Jumpman: huge one on the side, the customary one on the tongue, and another on the insole. Instead of any branding, the heel shows a white extension of the outsole. The laces also get a remastered form with a black and red color combination.

So far, the shoes have released overseas. We’re still waiting for its official Jordan release dates on the States. Still, stay tuned for more information about new Jordans.
