Nike Zoom Flight Bonafide
Color:Cool Grey/Pure Platinum
Release Date:May 11, 2017
Color and Design
Unfortunately, the Nike Zoom Flight Bonafide is not for everyone as the shoes divert from the traditional Nike sneakers silhouette and opt for a more skin-tight approach to shoe wearing. With a coverage that seems to go past the ankles, this Cool Grey design is a combination of grey shades and material textures that allows it to stand out despite the classic color choice.
Not much can be said on the color since every part of the sneakers is coated in grey, albeit in different shades. The center where the tongue is supposed to be is slightly darker than the rest of the shoes. We’re said “supposed to be” because they’re no tongue for the Nike Zoom Flight Bonafide as the upper offers a clean covering of material without the need for a strap, a tongue, or even laces. The shoes are kept tightly in place by the high design of the kicks with a zipper opening on the back. Even the zipper follows the cool grey shade, making it hard to notice them unless you take the time to look.
The Swoosh logo is beautifully displayed on the top center, this one done in a clean shade of white so that it stands out from the rest of the shoes.
The soles are done in white, but they’re far from boring. In fact, the soles add to the futuristic feel of the shoes as it displays a glass oblong-pattern done in black and speckles of white. The rest of the soles are thick with subtle grooves that add character to the kicks. Flip the shoes over and you’ll find additional grooves that allow for tight grips on the flooring.
Price and Release
Despite the apparent futuristic design of the Nike Zoom Flight Bonafide, you’ll be glad to know that the Cool Grey will not cost you an arm and a leg. The shoes will sell for $150 as soon as they hit selected brand stores. Falling within the typical price range of the Air Jordan shoes, you have the option of buying these babies or going for something from AJ – or maybe both?
