Michael Jordan is closely associated with the Chicago Bulls that people tend to forget that even as a young guy, he was already a rising star in college basketball due to his experience with the team at the University of Northern Carolina (UNC). This time, fresh from the heels of UNC’s sixth National Championship title, the Air Jordan brand is paying tribute to the school that helped make Michael Jordan an icon.

Features and Design

The Air Jordan 32 “UNC” makes use of Carolina blue kurim-molded overlay that makes it almost futuristic. The entire thing sits on grey marbled midsole that is fitted with the Jumpman logo on the side.

The shoelaces of the Air Jordan 32 “UNC” are Carolina blue as well. To celebrate UNC’s six titles, six ring decals have also been added to the spine for good measure.

Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement” Release

In other Jordan releases 2018 news, the Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement” is sure to impress potential buyers soon.

This new release looks just like the other “Black/Cement” versions in the past few years. What makes this new version of the “Black/Cement” design is the fact that there is a Nike Air logo on the heel, something that has been lacking on the design’s releases since 2001.

The official release of the Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement” will be on Saturday, February 17 at most Jordan Brand retailers worldwide and the Nike website. The Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement” will come in four types, marketed for different age groups. The adult sizes will be sold at $200, the grade school sizes will come at $140, the pre-school sizes at $80 and those for toddlers at $60.

The Air Jordan 32 “UNC” will be officially in stores starting Friday, March 9. While there is no official word yet as to what the initial price will be, it is reasonable to assume that it will sell within the price range of $150 to $200. Considering how good and inventive the design is, this price is actually sensible for potential buyers if you are getting such great new Jordans.
