Jordan Brand has announced earlier that there would be two versions of this sneaker, the first one releasing in April and the next in May. The first one was released and was great. The second one is now set to release some time in the month of May and will be the latest and last Jordan release 2018 of the “Homage to Home” dubbed sneaker.
The sneaker sits between “Banned” and “Chicago” dubbed sneaker’s design, two of Jordan Brands most popular sneakers. The sneaker theme makes this sneaker a looker everywhere it steps and although it is the first time Jordan Brand has attempted to combine two designs into one sneaker, we must say it has worked out perfectly. The only sad thing is that it will be limited to 2,300 owners only.
The sneaker will be dressed in a Red, White, and University Red colors. These colors make it pop among most of Jordan releases 2018. They are also Jordan Brand’s earmark colors being used in the earliest editions of the Brand.
The one special characteristic of this sneaker is that each and every one of the 2,300 sneakers is specially numbered on the inside. The heels also have the words “From and “For” detailing. These are the marks that set the sneaker apart from the two sneakers where it gets its inspiration. However, this special characteristics will be available on the first release and will be missing on the second edition.
The sneaker also includes an extra set of laces, Nike Air branding on the tongue and Wings logo. A classic detailing on the Jordan Brand releases.
The sneaker is set to be released on the 19th May 2018 and given that it is a limited release, will only be available in select Jordan stores. To get a pair of this sneaker, you will have to part with $160 USD. A discount price for a sneaker limited to 2,300 pairs.
The elements borrowed from “Chicago” and “Banned” make the new sneaker a perfect child of the two sneakers. The sneaker also dubbed “split” is broken down into two half to make a mix of two popular sneakers.
This second release expected in May comes after a successful release of the first edition which was completely sold out. Sneaker finders found it to be good looking, comfortable and stylish. Now with the second edition set to look the same with a subtle difference, it will definitely be a popular sneaker.
The sneaker appeals to “Chicago”, “Banned” and even the first edition “Homage to Home” dubbed sneaker fans who will look to have this second addition added to their collection. Rightfully, it will be a great addition and a great sneaker to wear.
